3 stories to do with my item
The item i was given was a handkerchief  that was white with blue poker dots.

The first story i thought of was that the handkerchief was a girls good luck charm given to her by her mum who died, the handkerchief however isn't just a good luck charm it has a magical power which when she squeezes she can travel through time. However she never thought to go back and save her mum from dying. As she got older and learnt of what this handkerchief could do. She starts to consider wither it would be a good idea or wither changing time would be too dangerous.

The second story i thought of was the handkerchief was always lying around a family's house no one ever took any notice of it or what it even was. The young girl one day picked it up, she decided it needed a use as it annoyed her it was always lying around the house, she would take it took school in her pocket, and maybe use it blow her nose, wipe her mouth she didn't really know what to use it for. Her friends questioned why she carried it every were and started to make rude comments towards her, laughing at her for carrying it around however it didn't stop her. She was determined to find a use for it. One day walking home after being laughed at and shouted out for carrying the handkerchief she heard a loud noise then a lot of screams, she was confused what was going on, she kept on walking and saw a man lying on the floor she started to walk a little faster. As she became closer to the man she saw he was in pain, he had been stabbed. She didn't know what do or how to stop his pain. She did the sensible thing of calling an ambulance, however this wouldn't stop the amount of blood he was loosing. Then suddenly she reached in to her pocket and felt the soft handkerchief she grabbed it quickly ans rapped it tightly around the stab woon. The ambulance arrived and took the man away,later on that week the young girl received a knock at her door, it was the man who was stabbed, he took hold of the young girls hand looked in to her eyes and said "you saved my life". She was so happy that finally her the "thing" that was boring, useless and not taken any notice of had served a purpose a very good purpose.

My last idea was that the handkerchief was the item you had to collect to win the game of paintball. A simple idea but the idea is how much this handkerchief means to collect to each team.

Character biographys:
The main character is a young girl called Lilly Mac. At the age of 10 she lost her mum, in a terrible accident that was never explained to her. Her mum worked for a secret force that
No one ever knew of. Lilly never knew her dad or any of her family she was raised by her mum. Due to having no family she was put in to care. Lilly was left little by her mum except a significant handkerchief that Lily was soon to learn it significance. She's a bright girl who has always been able to look after herself. Her ability to want to do well and natural interest everything leads her to start wondering why the handkerchief was left.

Statement of intent?????

Storyline:
Lilly mac and her mum lived alone, she loved her mum a lot but never really knew who she was or what she did, all she knew was that her mum would never leave the house with out a white and blue pocket dotted handkerchief. Lilly never use to think of the significance of it would be what it turned out to be, she just knew her mum was never to be with out it.
Lilly mac was at school waiting for her mum to pick her up, when she noticed blue flashing lights in the corner of her eye, she took no notice until then police man walked slowly towards her bent down on his knee and tried to explain that her mum had died. Thats the introduction to the story, the film goes on to see lily living in a children's home. She opens a box to see the handkerchief lying there with a note from her mum "use it wisely" the power of the handkerchief Lilly did not know.
Lilly goes on to find out her handkerchief isnt just a handkercheif, but a handkercheif that lets you see the future and travel in time. It begins to unfold that the her mum saved the world on to many occasions, it is now Lilly's time to do the same.

Production roles

The only people in my production is Charlotte Morris and Sebastian Button, i will be in charge of logging my shots and directing the whole one minute drama.

 

Pre-Production meetings

25th January- I met with a few friends to discuiss if they wanted to take part in my short film and they said they would let me know with the next week.

1st February- i met with freinds again and Charlotte said she would play the role of Lily and my brother said he would take the role of the police officer.

3rd February: I met with them again to show them the script and tell him how i would be filming, and if they were comfertable with the clothes i had chose for them.

5th February: we met again to discuss if they had a good idea of what they  needed to, i discussed the risks and how we would over come them. Also when and where we would be filming and if they were avaliable of those dates.

Production schedules

All my filming will take part during half term as it is the only time the actors i am using are available, i will film the whole thing over two days, this is taking in to considering having to redo certain shots again and again. i will film on the 14th and 15th February. I will then edit the work the day after, so if anything needs to be added on filmed again i still have time before the deadline.
